BFCTC · The Journey

From Read to Lead

Books From Children To Children takes every entrant on a journey — from writing their first story to becoming a published author and a role model for other children.

1

Write

It starts with a story. Children write on this year's theme — Climate Change & The Environment — in any form they choose.

2

A parent or guardian submits the entry by email, with consent, before the 11 September 2026 deadline.

3

Judging

Entries are read and judged by Jayce Joyce BCyA and the judging panel, on originality, voice, theme engagement and emotional impact.

4

Winning Stories Selected

Shortlisted authors are contacted by October 2026.

5

Book Published

Winning entries are professionally edited and published in the 2026 anthology, with full author credit.
